Baptism
At St John's Church, we believe that baptism is a sacrament of initiation, which marks the beginning of our journey of faith. It is a symbolic representation of being washed clean of sins and being reborn in Christ. We offer baptism ceremonies for both children and adults, and our doors are always open to those who seek to be baptized.
Confirmation
At St John's Church, we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Eucharist, also known as First Communion, in which we partake in the body and blood of Christ. This is a sacred moment that strengthens our connection with God and the community of believers. We offer First Communion courses for children and adults who wish to participate in this sacrament.
Marriage
At St John's Church, we believe that Confirmation is a sacrament of empowerment, in which we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is a moment of spiritual growth and deepening of our commitment to Christ. We offer Confirmation courses for both youth and adults who wish to be confirmed in the Anglican faith.
Funeral
At St John's Church, we celebrate the sacrament of Matrimony, in which two individuals join in a lifelong commitment to love and support each other. We believe that marriage is a sacred bond that reflects the love and unity of Christ and his Church. We offer marriage ceremonies for couples who wish to be wed in our beautiful church.
Anointing the Sick
At St John's Church, we believe in the power of prayer and the comfort of the Holy Spirit in times of sickness and suffering. We offer the sacrament of Anointing the Sick, in which we pray for the healing and well-being of those who are ill or in need of spiritual support.
